Aviation Treasures began operations in 1995, as a wholesale distributor of plastic models and related items. Our initial customers were hobby shops and pilot shops throughout the Midwest. Later that year retail sales became an integral part of the business. American Airlines, American Eagle, Delta, Southwest, the FAA, and military organizations were added to our customer base. In response to the requests of our expanding customer base, new products were added including mahogany and resin aircraft models, aviation jewelry from England, and aviator gifts from Canada.
Encouraged by numerous pilots to provide an on-line presence, the website has now taken off and you are about to experience what the airline and military personnel have enjoyed for the past eight years!

Order Confirmation
Shortly after placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. We will also include an estimated shipping date. If you have multiple items in your order, it is possible that we may send the items in multiple shipments. We will advise you via email of the estimated shipping date for each item. Please save these email notices for your records.
Out of Stock Items
Most orders are filled completely, but from time to time we do run out of stock. In such case, a non-shipped item will be backordered and an email will be sent notifying you of the circumstances and expected shipping date. Out of stock items ordered will be filled within 2-6 weeks.
Prices
All prices are in US dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Payment
All orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Also accepted are money orders, bank drafts and personal checks. Please note that personal check transactions may take an additional five (5) days to process until the bank clears the funds. We cannot accept checks drawn on non-US banks.
Sales Tax
We are required to collect Sales Tax on all orders shipped to receiving parties within the state of Texas.
Shipping Method
Most orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground with Tracking Confirmation, unless requested otherwise. Small gift items such as mugs, wall clocks and alarm clocks are sent via US Postal Service. Orders must be shipped to a street address; UPS will not deliver to a post office box. Orders can be shipped to any state within the continental U.S. At this time we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. Your order can be shipped to an address other than the address you used when you created an account.
International shipping: If you want the goods shipped to an international location, or to Canada, Puerto Rico or other destinations outside the U.S. including APO/FPO military addresses, then please send us an email and we will provide you with a shipping estimate.
Shipping Charges
Shipping Charges are listed separately with each item. The shipping charges for some of the larger Aircraft models are listed as zero because the shipping charges are already included in the price.
Merchandise Damaged During Shipping
Please inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives. If the merchandise has been damaged during shipment, you must contact us immediately (within 24 hours), as the shipper has a limited time to make a claim with the Delivery Company. Upon receipt of damaged merchandise Contact Aviation Treasures at (817-868-9978) or via email at Aviator864@yahoo.com within 24 hours. Please include your purchase order number and your contact information so that we may provide a quick response. You will be issued a call tag for the damaged merchandise. Repack the merchandise in the original packaging. Failure to return the merchandise in the original packaging will void your claim. You will be instructed on the shipping method to return the merchandise and the location to ship the merchandise to. Do not return the damaged merchandise back to us unless we have instructed you because this action may void the insurance. Replacement merchandise will be shipped to you upon confirmation that an Aviation Treasures representative received the returned damaged merchandise. The customer will not be charged additional freight for the replacement merchandise.
Delivery of Your Order
Normally all orders are shipped within three (3) business days. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for receipt of your goods.
Delivery Confirmation
Customers agree that Delivery Confirmation, as provided by UPS (or other authorized carrier) shall serve as bonafide proof of delivery of packages to the customers shipping address. Customer agrees that they are solely responsible for the security of their mail receiving area and shall hold harmless, Aviation Treasures for any missing parcels or losses once a package is confirmed by UPS (or other authorized carrier), as having been delivered to the customers shipping address. No refunds will be honored under these circumstances.
Lost Orders
All claims for lost orders must be reported within ten (10) business days of shipping, or we claim no liability. Please include your purchase order number and your contact information so that we may provide a quick response.
Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the merchandise to Aviation Treasures for full credit, refund or exchange, subject to the following criteria: That you contact AVIATION TREASURES at email Aviator864@yahoo.com or Phone (817-571-5804) or Fax 817-868-9978 within seven (7) days of receipt of the merchandise, and allow us the opportunity to resolve the problem.
